We are very fortunate to have many organizations, institutions and programs in Santa Rosa that provide an enriching environment. Below is a brief sampling. |

|
Marsha has been a Santa Rosa Symphony subscriber for decades and her husband is a past-president and current board member of the Santa Rosa Symphony Association. She finds the incredibly fine quality of the performances both exhilarating and contemplative for our restive times. She credits the youth programs under Cindy Weichel, Bob Williams and Eugene Shepherd for significantly benefiting both her children.

Art Start This spectacular program began with the Art Quest Program at Santa Rosa High School, a public school program for students for whom creativity and artistic expression is of paramount importance. In coordination with the City of Santa Rosa's Art in Public Places Committee on which Marsha served, and modeled on Chicago's Gallery 37, young artists beautify our community with their uniquely painted benches which grace all parts of our City. Many of our outstanding citizens have seen the value of supporting our young artists financially in this endeavor. |

Another jewel in our City is the Sonoma County Museum located in the Saint Rose Neighborhood Planned Community District in our downtown in the historic Old Post Office. Kevin Konicek, President of the Board of Trustees and a supporter of Marsha Vas Dupre's re-election says, "We envision the Sonoma County Museum to feature the multi-media Gaye LeBaron's Time Machine, the permanent history exhibit, the dedicated Christo and Jeanne-Claude wing, the portion of the twelve thousand total square feet of gallery space resonating with the theme Where Land Meets Art, the comprehensive research facilities and classrooms, the state-of-the-art lecture hall and screening room, and the Children's Gallery." |

The Charles M. Schulz Museum is our newest attraction! The beauty, love and attention that his wife Jean Schulz and family have contributed to this collection and second home for Charlie Brown and Snoopy have to be seen and experienced to be believed. Those whose eye is on the economic benefit to Santa Rosa have only to estimate the number of visitors who will sleep and eat in our City while they target this unforgettable experience. |
